President Donald Trump is surrendering to Vladimir Putin and Russia while attacking our allies. After trying to make President Zelenskyy grovel in the White House, with his attack puppy Vance’s help, and force access to minerals without negotiations or a trade deal, President Trump has canceled our military support for Ukraine. Secretary Hegseth has even stopped the Defense Department’s protections against Russia’s cyber-attacks on our Internet and computers.
Trump Bowing to Putin
President Trump is becoming America’s Neville Chamberlain! Just as Chamberlain surrendered Czechoslovakia to Hitler and Nazi Germany in 1938, Trump is surrendering Ukraine to Putin and Russia. Chamberlain’s cowardice and the cowardice of France and the United States in the face of Hitler’s aggression helped strengthen Germany and cause World War II. Trump’s abandoning Ukraine and our European allies while aggressively attacking Canada and Mexico with tariffs will do the same for Russia in the next war. The President’s isolating us and aiding Russia will encourage China to strengthen its alliance with Russia and endanger Taiwan.
The Republican Crossroad
Republicans in the House and Senate have been mere Trump puppets thus far. Now they must demonstrate whether they only care about being reelected or that they actually care about the security of the United States and its people. They must remove Trump’s authority to unilaterally declare tariffs, force an increase in military support for Ukraine, increase protection from cyber-attacks, increase our manufacturing of ammunition and weapons, and pass legislation to ensure that president cannot abandon NATO. They and the American people must also ensure that Ukraine has security protections against Russia renewing its war preferably by admitting it to NATO. If any nations block its admission, such as Hungary or Turkey, they should be expelled fromNATO.
